# What is BillBasket?

> BillBasket is offline-first billing, inventory, and business management software for Indian shops — from creating invoices to tracking stock and dues.

BillBasket is billing and inventory software built for small shops. You create
invoices, track stock, manage customers and suppliers, and see how your
business is doing — all from one app on your computer or phone.

<Tip>
  BillBasket works completely **offline**. You don't need the internet to
  bill a customer, add stock, or look up a report. See [Understanding
  offline-first](/customer-guide/getting-started/offline-first) for what that
  means day to day.
